Meet the Staff:
Funeral Director Marie Vandersyde |
A licensed funeral director, Marie has worked in the industry since 1995. She was a funeral director and a manager of two funeral homes in Nashua for 11 years.
She received her Associates Degree in Funeral Service from the New England Institute at Mount Ida College and her Bachelors in Business Management.
Marie and her husband reside in Merrimack. In her spare time, she loves to travel and garden.
Save the Date: Special Holiday Remembrance Event
Phaneuf is pleased to announce a special holiday event for families served at Phaneuf over the past year, as well as local families that may want to participate in a special remembrance service during the Holiday season.
On December 12, families are invited to attend this special ceremony at Phaneuf's chapel at 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. If your family has held a service for a loved one since December 2006, watch for an invitation in the mail in the coming months.

Seats still available for Strawbery Banke Trip
Seats are filling up fast for our free Day Trip to Portsmouth and Strawbery Banke on Wednesday, October 10. Reserve today and be part of a fun-filled day of stepping back in time in the historic village.
The bus leaves Phaneuf's Hanover Street location at 9:00 am and travels to Strawbery Banke for a free tour of the beautiful homes. Lunch is on your own and there will be plenty of time for some shopping in downtown Portsmouth. You will return to Phaneuf at approximately 4:00 pm.

Phaneuf presents Veterans Day Event |

Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium Community Service Events Series is proud to honor former military personnel with a special Veterans Event on November 8 at 1:00 pm.
The afternoon will include a memorial service for the deceased and information about Veterans death benefits as well as an opportunity to register and reserve a plot at the Veterans cemetary in Boscawen. Prizes will be available to attendees and refreshments will be served.

Last month to lock-in to preplanning rates

For a number of years, Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium have been able to hold their prices for services and merchandise steady. But industry prices are on the rise as well as the costs the funeral home incurs and as a result, Phaneuf will have to increase their prices.
Several families contact Phaneuf throughout the year for information about pre-planning. We've extended our low prices through the end of October for those families and others interested in making their prearrangements with Phaneuf. As of November 1, our prices will go up and you will have missed your chance to lock-in to low rates for pre-arranging your services.
