John B. Phaneuf

John officially retired from the firm in 1995 after 40 years of service. During his tenure as a director and later as President and owner, he turned a small west side funeral home into one of the largest funeral service providers in the state. He was the visionary behind many of the services and offerings the firm provides today. He attended St. Anselm's College and received his degree in funeral service from the New England Institute in Boston. In his retirement, he plays crocket professionally and travels extensively. He and his wife of over 40 years, Paula, reside in West Palm Beach, FL and Newcastle, NH. While no longer active in funeral service on a day to day basis, he is still considered a valuable resource to the firm as they continue to expand and provide the highest level of service to the over 1,000 families they serve each year. |

Arthur O. "Buddy" Phaneuf

Buddy is a fourth generation funeral director and has been running the family funeral business since 1989. Prior to that, he worked in Washington, D.C. as a senior consultant with management consulting firm, Deloitte and Touche. He holds an MBA degree in finance from the George Washington University, a B.S. degree in Operations Research from the University of New Hampshire and an A.S. degree in Funeral Service from the New England Institute. He is a member of the New Hampshire Funeral Directors Association and is a freelance writer for several funeral service trade magazines. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Visiting Nurse Association of Southern New Hampshire. Buddy is a lifelong parishioner of Ste. Marie Church and has served on several nonprofit Boards throughout the Manchester area. In his spare time, he coaches youth hockey and enjoys skiing, mountain biking, playing hockey and traveling. He lives in Manchester with his wife, Pamela, and three children., Mallory, Jonathan and Griffin. |

Michele M. Phaneuf-Plasz

Michele has been involved in funeral service since 1997 and is a fourth generation funeral director. She holds a B.S. degree in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire and is a graduate of Lynn University with an A.S. degree in Funeral Service. She is a member of the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority and was the past president of Sigma Phi Sigma. Michele is a fitness enthusiast who also enjoys boating. Born and raised in Manchester, she has resided in Arizona, California and Florida before becoming an Auburn resident with her family. |

Jeffrey A. Plasz

Jeff is the Membership Director and has been involved with the firm since 2003. Prior to this position, he has been extensively involved in recruitment & human resources in both corporate and agency settings. Jeff holds a B.S. degree in Organizational Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where he was awarded multiple scholarships and graduated with honors. He enjoys outdoor activities such as motorcycling, boating, & snowmobiling. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Jeff has also resided in Arizona. For the last twenty years he has been a resident of New Hampshire where he lives with is family. |

Mallory is a former student of Trinity High School, graduating in 2009 as a member of The National Honor Society and as a varsity soccer and track athlete. She has volunteered at various nursing homes and hospitals during her summers in high school. She continued her education and athletics at Mount Holyoke College where she plays varsity soccer. Her major is currently undecided, but focuses on psychology and economics. During the summer she keeps busy by interning at Phaneuf Funeral Home, playing soccer and spending time with her friends. |

Joanne M. Levesque

Joanne is the office manager of the firm and has been active in funeral service for over 25 years. She has taken numerous courses in bereavement counseling and aftercare. Joanne, a Manchester native, resided for ten years in Goffstown but recently moved back to the City. She also volunteers her time with senior groups and those that are less fortunate. She is on several nonprofit Boards and is the founder and Past President of the Medvil Association. In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, bike riding and traveling. |

Roger L. Gosselin

Roger is a licensed Funeral Director and the Operations Manager at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire since 1995. He received his degree in funeral service from NEI at Mount Ida College and is currently a Clinical Instructor with FINE Mortuary College. He lives in Goffstown and enjoys spending time with his 3 children and enjoys watching all NE sports.

Mark P. Gomes

Mark has been active in funeral service since 1989. He is a first generation funeral director, and has been employed at firms throughout the state. Most recently he held the position of General Manager, with the Alderwoods Group, where he was responsible for all activities associated with families, community liaison, operations, staff, facilities and financials for 4 funeral homes. In February 2006, he accepted a position with the firm. Mark holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from Franklin Pierce College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In the same year, Mark was a High Honors graduate of New England Institute at Mt. Ida College, with an A.S. degree in Funeral Service. He is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Society. An avid scuba diver, Mark has earned the professional certification of Divemaster. He has traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean, diving with sharks, stingrays, and a vast array of marine life. Other interests include animals and sport cars. Mark resides in Manchester with his wife Gina, and their son Nathan. |

Marie has worked in funeral service since 1995. She worked as a funeral director and later as manager of two funeral homes in Nashua for the past 11 years. Marie joined the company in June of 2006. She holds a B.S. degree in Business Management and A.S. degree in Funeral Service from the New England Institute at Mount Ida College. Marie lives in Merrimack with her husband Jeremy. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and tending to her flower garden. |

Linda began working at the firm in April of 2006. Most of her work experience has been in Massachusetts and Florida. Linda has lived in Manchester for the past 4 years. She has 2 children, 2 cats and an African Gray Parrot named Dino. In her spare time she likes to hike and take long walks especially in the fall which is her favorite time of year. She also likes to spend time with her family and friends, garden, read, crafts and follow her children's activities. |

Nicole joined the company in June 2007. Before coming here Nicole had worked throughout the United States as a pastry chef, a profession she fostered after graduating magna cum laude form Johnson & Wales University in 1988. Since that time Nicole has experimented with different business ventures including owning an operating a small home based catering company and a pool cleaning service in Boynton Beach, Florida, where she resided the last 11 years. Nicole loves the outdoors and fall in New England. She is most happy about being home again and having the chance to be part of the family business and work beside her brother Buddy and sister, Michele. |

Vera joined the firm in July 2007. She was born and lived in Russia before moving to the United States in 1998. Vera became a US citizen in 2007. Previously she worked as an office manager and funeral services assistant at a small funeral home in the Concord area. An avid reader, she also enjoys cooking, taking long walks, helping others, and spending time with her family and friends. She lives in Hooksett with her aunt and her daughter. |

Mandy is a graduate of Manchester Central High School, Class of '97, she attended Phoenix East Aviation in Daytona, FL in 1999, and graduated magna cum laude from FINE Mortuary College in 2010. Prior to beginning her career in funeral service, Mandy spent several years as a dental technician as well as co-owner and heavy equipment operator at a small landscape supply yard in Epsom. She is also a professional cake decorator and has been creating beautiful wedding and special occasion cakes for more than 15 years. Mandy fills her spare time with shopping (especially for shoes), reading and watching terrible movies. Her deep love of art and music of all genres was inspired and fueled by her father. She plays the French horn and is slowly teaching herself to play the harp, but she always finds the most enjoyment in spending as much time as possible with her friends and very close-knit family. Though born and raised in Manchester, Mandy now resides in Epsom with her two wonderful children, Kylie and KC, and their cat, Tank.

Bridget N. Murphy has been involved in Funeral Service since 1997. Following her grandfather, William Pelton into funeral service, she graduated cum laude from New England Institute at Mt. Ida College in 1999. Since graduation, she has continued her education via Dodge Sunshine and Technical Seminars. In November of 2008, she moved to Manchester, NH from Cape Cod where she resided and worked since January 2000.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time at the family camp "Deerspring Lodge" in Merrill, NY. Hiking, boating, swimming and relaxation are always on the schedule. Since moving to New Hampshire, she has enjoyed a renewed interest in Alpine and Nordic Skiing. An avid reader and crafter, she is active with the Amoskeag Quilt Guild in Manchester, NH and the Embroiderers Guild of America. She enjoys needle arts, quilting and knitting. She has won several awards for her work at the Barnstable County Fair in Massachusetts.

Joel grew up in Wakefield Massachusetts. He has been married to his wife Kathy for 29 years. They moved with their 3 children in 1987 to make a home in the Manchester area. He treasures the time he spends with his family and friends, whether it be the holidays, a barbeque or just a simple small get together. In his down time he enjoys listening to music, reading, gardening, cooking, fishing, spending time at the ocean and long walks with his dog Jasper.

Lucy was born and raised in Russia. In April of 1998, Lucy married Vladimir and started her own family. In 2000, Lucy and her family made an unexpected move to the United States. She has 5 children including two twin boys John and Nick. After living in the US for seven years, Lucy became a US citizen. Lucy and her family love spending time outdoors on holidays and weekends and enjoy getting together at lakes and the ocean. In her spare time, Lucy loves to knit. Lucy is also an expert seamstress and enjoys sewing clothing for her friends and family. She has been working for Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium since 2008 and enjoys her coworkers.

Joan Maione

Joan has been involved in funeral service since 2005. She holds a B.A. degree in Sociology from Rivier College where she graduated with honors, and is a graduate of N.E.I. at Mount Ida with an A.S. degree in Funeral Service. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Delta and Pi Sigma Eta. Joan is a Hospice Volunteer, which is what brought her into the funeral business. She has also been the Proctor Pet Cemetery Coordinator at the Humane Society for the last four years and sits on the advisory board of AWFP (Association of Women Funeral Professionals). Joan holds a yellow belt in Muay Thai Kickboxing and is a professional baker. A New Jersey native, Joan lived in Los Angeles for five years before returning to her adopted state of New Hampshire where she resides in Merrimack with her family.

Todd Pillsbury

Todd Pillsbury is a third-generation Funeral Director. He grew up in the funeral industry and eventually ran the family-owned funeral home, Pillsbury Funeral Home in Littleton, NH. After several years, owning and running Pillsbury Funeral Home, Todd and his wife Sue took a sabbatical from funeral service and sold the firm. In 2010, after Phaneuf Funeral Homes acquired Pillsbury Funeral Home, Todd and Sue came back to serve the families of Littleton, which they had missed very much.

Sue Pillsbury
|
Sue has been directly involved in funeral service since 1996, with much second-hand experience prior to that through her husband, Todd. Her previous life experiences include being an office manager and medical transcriptionist at a local health services center, homeschooling her daughter for 6 years, child caregiver, and most recently holding the position of secretary/bookkeeper, and funeral service assistant at Pillsbury Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Inc. prior to taking a turn on her life path with her husband. Together, they decided to sell Pillsbury Funeral Homes and Cremation Service and take a year to travel. Throughout their travels they went as far south as Florida, and as far west as Arizona making plenty of pit-stops along the way for sight-seeing and picture taking.
After their year of travel, both Todd and Sue have settled back down in Littleton, NH where they were born and raised. Ironically, she started back at the funeral home in Littleton in 2010 as a funeral service/administrative assistant, which was purchased by Buddy Phaneuf, and is now Pillsbury Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium. In her spare time Sue enjoys spending time with her family, working outside, reading, walking, traveling and listening to music.

Paul

Paul is a lifelong NH resident having grown up in Goffstown, resided in New Boston and the last 11 years in Bedford. Paul retired from Bedford Police after 24 ½ years of full time law enforcement and continues in a part time capacity with the Sheriff's Dept. Paul retired as Captain and the second in command. He then went on to continue to serve the Town of Bedford for 6 more years as a Town Councilor and former Chairman, also serving on numerous boards and Committees. He has a BA in Business Management from Franklin Pierce College graduating Magna Cum Laude. He also served for 4 years as a Director on the Board for the NH Police Association. He also has held memberships in numerous Associations and Fraternal Organizations including Washington Lodge #61 F&AM since 1989. He and his wife Michele have been married since 1989, he has 3 children, PJ, Aaron and daughter Tessa, also 2 granddaughters Grace and McKenzie. He enjoys riding his Harley, gardening and spending time with his family.

Tricia joined the firm in 2012. Prior to employment with Phaneuf, Tricia worked in the real estate industry for fifteen years. She is a graduate of The New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts and attended UNH - College for Lifelong Learning. Tricia is a Manchester native; she has spent her last fourteen years as a resident of Goffstown with her husband, Jeremy, and her daughter, Anna. In her spare time, Tricia is an outdoor enthusiast. She loves skiing, hiking, cycling, walking, and camping with her family and friends.
